Courier service
The visa application centre will courier the UK Border Agency's decision on your visa application, documents and passport back to you for an extra fee of 30.00 Dirhams. Please enquire about this service when you submit your visa application at one of the VFS service desks or opt to purchase the service online.

SMS service - track your application
SMS news updates will be sent to you informing you of the status of your visa application. Once purchased you will receive several automated feedback messages to your mobile phone informing you what stage your application is within the process. The service supports the transfer of SMS text into the language of your choice (Arabic and English languages are available) and re-assures you that your visa application is progressing towards the final stages of the visa application process. At the end of the process you will receive an automated email message (in English only) to your registered email address provided in your application form, informing you that the UK Border Agency has arrived at a decision with regard to your application. You will, however, not be informed on the outcome of this decision.
You can buy this service for 8.00 Dirhams at the same time you submit your visa application form, supporting documents and biometric data at the visa application centre or opt to purchase the service online. Photograph service
Applicants using this service can have their photograph taken at the visa application centre. This will ensure that the photographs meet UK Border Agency specifications. This service can be bought for an extra fee of 25.00 Dirhams for 4 passport size photographs.
Photocopying documents
There is a photocopying service at the visa application centre for a fee of 2.00 Dirhams for each sheet.
Premium service
The Premium service is available for those customers who would like to experience a dedicated service with individual attention of one of our staff. This service provides the following amenities (which are included in additional fee of 275.00 Dirhams):

Prime time appointment
The Prime time appointment service is mainly aimed to facilitate working professional and business executives who would prefer to apply outside of their own normal working hours. Prime time appointment bookings allow applicants to make an appointment at the Abu Dhabi or Dubai visa application centre at a convenient time, outside of normal business hours, at a cost of AED
180.00 for each appointment, plus the visa fee. Prime time appointments will be available
Sunday to Thursday 08:00 to 09:00 & 16:00 to 18:00 and Saturdays 09:00 to 12:00.
How to apply for the service

Prime time appointments will be operated strictly under an appointment system online through the VFS website and offline only through email. |

For offline booking applicants will be given a confirmation of appointment which will have the booking reference number, the applicant’s name and passport number and details of the date and time of the appointment. Applicants will be required to bring a print out of this confirmation when they come to the VAC to submit their application. |

Applicant should follow the instructions on the Schedule an Appointment page of website www.vfs-uk-ae.com. |

For online bookings, applicants are given the option to book an appointment with the visa application centre by selecting the prime time option from the drop down list available from the Book an appointment page. Prime time appointment slots will be allocated as per the table below |

Priority Visa Service
You can use our priority service to have your visa application processed ahead of others.
All UAE nationals and residents may apply for this service in any category of visa application for UK. Priority service cannot be availed when applying for visas to Commonwealth Countries and Oversees Dependent Territories.
To apply for a priority visa you must complete and submit a UK visa application online as normal and visit one of the UK's visa application centres operated by VFS Global in Abu Dhabi or Dubai where you will be able to obtain further details about the priority service.
Using the priority service does not imply or guarantee in any way that your visa application will be successful. All visa applicants must meet the requirements of the UK Immigration Rules. The amount paid for the priority service, as well as the visa application fee, is not refundable if the visa application is refused or, in exceptional cases, takes longer to process.
You should be aware that you may experience extended processing times if any of the following factors apply, if you have:

previously been refused a visa for the UK, and/or; |
|
previously been refused leave to enter the UK, and/or; |
|
previously been deported, removed, or otherwise required to leave the UK, and/or; |
|
overstayed a period of leave in the UK, and/or; |
|
been refused leave to remain in the UK by the Home Office, and/or; |
|
been refused a visa for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United States of America or the Schengen countries, and/or; |
|
been convicted of a criminal offence in any country. |
Note: This value added service will initially only be available in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. There will be a charge of 600 AED for use of this service.
