Submission: We are open to take applications from 0900Hrs to 1600 Hrs.
Please note that submission between 1600 Hrs and 1700 Hrs will be by
appointment only. Please call or e-mail if you wish to make an appointment
Collection: For straightforward applications the Embassy aims to make a decision within 24 hrs and decisions on these will generally be available for collection from the VAC from 16:00 hrs on the working day after you submit your application.
Non-straightforward applications may take up to 15 working days. As a general rule applications, for anything other than a visit visa, and those from applicants who have not visited the UK before will be non-straightforward and are likely to take longer than 24 hours.
We recommend that you check that your passport is ready before you come to the VAC for collection, either using our online tracking facility through our website www.vfs-uk-ae.com or by calling our contact centre, better still, sign up for our SMS messaging service and receive a text on your mobile phone as soon as your passport is ready to be collected at the application centre. It costs just 5 AED and can be arranged when you submit your application.

park adjacent to the Trade Centre Road and inform the security personnel that

Note: The VAC can get very crowded at peak collection time between 16:00 hrs and 17:00
hrs. If you want to avoid the crowds you will find it much quieter to collect
your passport the next morning anytime from 9:00 am onwards. Alternatively you
can save a second visit to the VAC and use our courier return service. Please
ask at the desk when you submit your application.
