Additional Services On this page you will find the services offered through VFS, which are optional and are in paid addition to the visa application fee. Courier service SMS service - track your application Photograph service Photocopying documents Premium service Visit Britain Services - maps, travel cards Courier service The visa application centre will courier the UK Border Agency's decision on your visa application, documents and passport back to you for an extra fee of 30.00 Dirhams. Please ask for this service when you submit your visa application at one of the VFS service desks. Back to top SMS service - track your application SMS news updates will be sent to you informing you of the status of your visa application. Once purchased you will receive several automated feedback messages to your mobile phone informing you what stage your application is within the process. The service supports the transfer of SMS text into the language of your choice (Arabic and English languages are available) and re-assures you that your visa application is progressing towards the final stages of the visa application process. At the end of the process you will receive an automated email message (in English only) to your registered email address provided in your application form, informing you that the UK Border Agency has made a decision on your visa application. You will not be informed on the outcome of the decision on your visa application. You can buy this service for 8.00 Dirhams at the same time you submit your visa application form, supporting documents and biometric data at the visa application centre. Back to top Photograph service Applicants using this service can have their photograph taken at the visa application centre. This will ensure that the photographs meet UK Border Agency requirements. This service can be used for an extra fee of 15.00 Dirhams for 4 passport size photographs. Back to top Photocopying documents There is a photocopying service at the visa application centre for a fee of 2.00 Dirhams for each photocopied sheet. Back to top Premium service The Premium service is available for those customers who would like to experience an enhanced customer service. This service provides the following amenities (which are included in additional fee of 275.00 Dirhams): • a separate premium service lounge • a stylish surroundings with refreshments • photocopying service for your documents • faster submission of your application at the visa application centre • SMS alert on the status of your application • Courier return of your passport. Important note: Your visa will be processed and decided by the UK Border Agency. Using the premium service does not mean that your visa will be processed more quickly. To make an appointment to use the premium service please email, telephone or simply attend the visa application centre reception in Dubai or Abu Dhabi and ask for the 'premium service'.
