The supporting document checklists listed below will give an indication
of the types of documents the UK Border Agency visa officer would
want to see, but there may be others that you should include.
The checklists are designed to assist you in the visa application
process. They are not a definitive list of the types of documents
you should include.
We ask for supporting documents to help us decide if you meet
the requirements of the UK Immigration Rules. For example you
will usually need to show that you have enough money to pay for
your trip, and your food, accommodation and expenses in the United
Kingdom (UK). To show this we will ask to see bank statements,
pay slips and evidence of savings - yours and/or your sponsor's,
depending on who is paying the costs. Also you will usually need
to show that you will leave the UK at the end of your stay. To
show this you could send evidence of your job, or continuing studies
in your home country. You should include all of the supporting
documents you think are relevant.
Please print your checklist and bring it to the visa application
centre with you. You should print the forms on good quality paper,
ensuring the text does not exceed the margins.

for a visa under this category must provide sponsorship
